NSPCC Number Day 2017
3rd Feb 2017
Pupils participated in 'Dress up for Digits' day by wearing an item of clothing with a number on it. Throughout the day, each classroom took part in various Numeracy activities and games e.g. Who wants to be a Mathionaire; Guess my shape. Most importantly, the children had lots of fun with number whilst fundraising for a great cause. Each pupil made a donation of £2 to raise money for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. As a whole school, we raised £122 which will go towards protecting more children across Ireland. A big thank-you to parents for their creativity and support.
